The Township of Hornepayne offers a variety of recreation programs at our arena from (approximately) November to March including:

  • Adult hockey
  • Figure skating (if an instructor is available)
  • Ice rentals
  • Minor hockey
  • Public Skating
  • Shinny

Arena Program 2024-25

Buy a program pass

You can buy day passes, monthly passes or annual passes for you or your whole family. Passes are available at the arena and town hall. Debit, credit and cash are accepted.

You must present your pass to arena staff before you can get on the ice. 

View the fees for daily, monthly and seasonal skating passes. All prices include HST.

*Full-Time Students 18+ will be required to provide a Student ID Card.
*Senior’s rate applies to 55 years and over. 

NEW: Bulk discount pricing

Bulk discount pricing of 10% off applies when purchasing 5 to 8 public skating passes at one time (of same pass type and age group). 

Breakdown of discount (i.e., 2 adult + 3 child monthly passes, purchased all at once, will receive 10% off the total):

  • 2 adult monthly passes @ $33.65 each + 3 child passes @ $16.83 = $117.79
  • $117.79 @ 10% off = $11.78 discount
  • $117.79 - $11.78 = $106.01 for 5 monthly passes

Hourly ice rentals

You can privately rent the ice for an event per hour. Please contact 807-228-2593 to book a timeslot. You must book 24 hours in advance. 

Rental Fee

The rental fee is $103.26 plus HST per hour.
